FAMILY FUN IN THE WILDERNESS (December - March 2009)

Fancy an adventure? Come for a traditional Beaverfoot weekend packed with snow, dog sledding and lots of family fun!

Friday evening, grab a flask of hot chocolate, a couple of warm blankets and head to the 1000 Star Restaurant for the opportunity to participate in an outdoor cookout and bonfire.

Saturday morning, start your day off with a hearty breakfast Beaverfoot style. Then head down the hill to join the Kingmik team to meet, greet and learn about their 100 happy and hard-working Alaskan Huskies who will be waiting anxiously to take you on a dog sled ride around the property with one of their trained drivers.

After lunch, you have the option to snowshoe around the property or spend the afternoon tobogganing down the hill.

In the evening, following a great home-cooked dinner, you can retreat to our sauna or simply relax in the warm ambiance of the lodge.

Package Includes: Dog sled ride*, two nights accommodation with all meals included and use of toboggans and snowshoes. $595 taxes not included.

As our winter residents at Beaverfoot Lodge, we are pleased to partner with Kingmik Dog Sled Tours. They are the oldest established dog sledding tour company in the West, and have been operating in Banff National Park since 1982.
